Comments on: P90X at Walmart

Just this year (2011) I have seen P90X, 10 Minute Trainer and Insanity advertised in flyers for Sears, Walmart, Canadian Tire & Zellers.
Today I was in Staples and saw P90X and Insanity on the shelf. The box said manufactured by Beachbody, distributed by shopnorthern.com which looks like distribution for ‘As Seen on TV’ products. It also had a website on the box http://www.buyP90X.ca which does not seem to be up anymore.

Sears.ca is also listing the P90X for sale on their as seen on tv area. Don’t really think of sears breaking the law.

As of Dec 10th 2010 the As Seen on TV store near my still had about 10 copies of the P90X workout program still available. I did see some copies at Walmart too. Maybe Tony and the gang at Beachbody.com have loosened up on the distribution a bit.

If you see P90X being sold in a retail outlet, in the U.S. or Canada, it's being sold illegally, The only legitimate ways to buy a new P90X workout program is from the beachbody site, or through a Team Beachbody Coach. Although Wal-Mart is tempting, I also would not buy from them. There is no way that other companies can compare to Wal-Mart prices. There is a reason behing this. Wal-Mart is a great example of capitalism, and although the products are cheap for the customers the employee’s of America and especially overseas are treated unethical. Some may argue that a dime an hour is more than they would make anywhere else in these 3rd world countries but Wal-Mart is the richest corporation and you would think out of ethics,and basic human rights they would offer more. Wal-Mart is not good for America either, have they never heard of taking care of their own, they can’t even offer free, or cheap health insureance, what is that? The reason I that the p90x is so cheap at Wal-Mart is because a Wal-mart employee is working for less than deserved wages.

Here’s a tip – Costco, Wal-Mart, QVC.com, and Team Beachbody are retailing P90X for 119.85. The price is standard outside of used copies on eBay/Amazon. Don’t buy direct from the beachbody.com site or you’ll end up with the payment deal that ends up costing way more and is more a hassle. You can either purchase it thru a retail outlet as listed or join Team Beachbody and purchase it through your online retail portal which also offers easier ordering and you don’t have to deal with an outsourced phone rep. You also are registered for the message boards and assigned a coach once you register for Team Beachbody through their website.
